Year 2 - Happy Easter to you all!9 April 2020 (by stjohnb) |
We would firstly like to thank you all for supporting your children at home during this very unusual time. We cannot believe that it has been nearly three weeks since we were all last together, learning and having fun. However, we are immensely proud of you all in the way you have adapted to the new way of learning from home. We monitor your learning each day and we are so thrilled at the way you are all working so hard. Hopefully this situation will end sooner rather than later and we can all be back together, sharing our stories and supporting each other again. We miss you all very very much!
Easter is a time when we think about God's message of New Life. It is the time when we celebrate that wonderful miracle of Jesus coming back to life. So when you look around outside and see the flowers and your own bulbs growing, we want you to remember what a miracle it is. Now homework for Easter. Did we hear a little groan? Your homework during Easter is to enjoy the lovely weather, play outside in the garden and have fun with your family. If you do all of those things and have also been good for your mums and dads, we are sure you will get a visit from the Easter Bunny this Sunday.
As we finish this little note to you, may we remember God's perfect love for all of us and may that love fill us all with HOPE for all the days to come.
Happy Easter to our wonderful children and parents.
Stay home and stay safe.
