Reception - Hoppy Easter!9 April 2020 (by stjohnb) |
Have you smelt the new flowers that have started to grow? Have you heard the birds sing? Have you felt the warm air? Have you seen any baby animals? It’s Springtime! The time of year when everything wakes up with a promise of life, hope and new beginnings.
I was glad to hear that Mr MacAreavyhad managed to make contact with a lot of our Reception families today. I pictured their innocent faces when he asked to speak to the children and imagined their little voices chatting away. It fills me with hope knowing that you are all doing well and making the most of family time. To the wonderful children in my class I hope that you have been good for your parents so that the Easter Bunny can visit this Sunday. Families, may this prove to you that your little ones can find anything when they put their mind to it. I’ll admit a few Easter eggs may have already been consumed here.
Over the weekend, you may wish to encourage your child to find out about the Easter story. They could even make their own picture book to show an understanding. Here is a useful link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/radio/easter-story
