Year 3 - Happy Easter!9 April 2020 (by stjohnb) |
This is my favourite time of year when the flowers all start to come out, the sun is shining, the weather is warmer and… there is one more reason. Can you think of it?
On a more serious note, I hope that you are all looking after yourselves and being good for your parents. As we come towards the Easter weekend I wish you all a Happy Easter and hope that you take special time with your family at home. I continue to pray for those who are on the front line helping to protect us all from this virus.
Take time to do what you enjoy over the Easter break. Play out in the garden and take advantage of the beautiful weather we are having. Pick up a book you really want to read, I have just managed to start a book I got for Christmas! Make up a new game you can teach your family to play. Make Easter cakes (I’ve spied a Creme Egg loaf cake which I will definitely be making. Also a clue for my question above!). Call your school friends and chat to one another because you are probably all having similar experiences. I know you will all have great ideas to share which your friends could do too. Most importantly of all, have fun!
Please don’t worry about your spellings on Spelling Shed I have purposefully not put any on over the Easter holidays. If you are pulling your hair out and really want to do some work there are the year 3/4 spellings.
Take care of yourselves Year 3 and Happy Easter!
