Dear Parents and Carers

Unfortunately we have suffered a small amount of damage due to the high winds and I have already spoken to
a number of the dad’s who so generously gave their time to help with a number of jobs including relocating the
scooter huts, reinstating the wooden fencing, pruning some of the trees around the poly tunnel and helping to
move the old circular picnic benches to the front of the school and replace them with new ones for our children.
We have agreed to meet on Sunday 7th January at 9.00am in the school car park to reinstate some of the
wooden boarding that surrounds the Darby Ground. If you are able to help it would certainly ensure that the
school is ready to welcome the children back on Monday morning. Please bring any tools/drills that you think
may help. I have already purchased the new timber and bags of postcrete. If enough of us are available we
should be easily done by lunch. Thanking you in advance.
