Dear Parents and Carers

It is clear from your responses to the teachers Parent Evening Preference that the majority of you would like a face to face meeting. I fully appreciate this general sentiment and it would be good for you to be able to sit with your child's teacher in their own classroom for 10 minutes.

In order to accommodate this, we have decided that on Monday 17th October school will close at 2.00pm. Children can be collected at the normal points and after school clubs and the book fair will not take place on that day. Teachers will begin to arrange times which will be allocated next week.

Parents who have requested an online appointment will be allocated a time on Tuesday or Wednesday.

All school activities including after school clubs and book fair will return to normal on Tuesday 18th October.

As I have said in previous correspondence, entrance to your meeting will be through external classroom doors accessed via the gate located by our Year 6 classroom. It would be most helpful if you were able to keep to your time as we will not be able to allow several families to be in classrooms at the same time.

We have tried to respond to your wishes and hope that you find these arrangements acceptable.
