Dear Parents and Carers

The children in Reception, year 1 and 2 are excited that you have booked them on to our new infant multi sport/football course which will take place for the first time tomorrow.  Your child can change into either their PE Kit or their football kit if they have one and we would like Reception Parents to stay to help your child get changed and if any Year 1 or 2 Parents feel their child will struggle it would be helpful if you did this too.  I have no doubt that this will be a most interesting first session but it is important that we give our youngest children these opportunities and that includes getting changed by themselves as soon as they are able to.  Many forms of sports footwear now use velcro so lace fastening is not the nightmare it once was.  We shall monitor the children and hope that they will become independent as quickly as possible.  Some of your children may already be able to do this, so perhaps a little practice tonight may be time well spent.
