Dear Parents and Carers

I would like to remind you that the children in Year 5 will be taking a water safety assessment this Wednesday at the Meadows Swimming Pool.  They have been asked to bring in addition to their normal swimming costume their pyjamas which they need to wear as part of the water safety test.  The swimming coach advised them to bring thin material that will not absorb too much water and make it more difficult when they are asked to tread water and swim.  

We now have completed our school choir auditions and I hope that Fr Grant will allow us to sing at the children's First Holy Communion as this would help to make the celebration as special as we can at this time.  Remember the school photographer will be present back at school after each of the Holy Communion Masses.  

The boys will be given their new tie and sash on Thursday 14th October and ask that they are returned to school the following week.
