PONY RACING TASTER DAY

At AINTREE RACECOURSE

on TUESDAY 31ST AUGUST 2021

  Come and find out more about pony racing and see behind the scenes at Aintree Racecourse.

  You don’t need your own pony or any special clothing or equipment - just yourself!

• Have a go on a horse simulator under the watchful eye of a qualified instructor

• See how fit you need to be to ride in a pony race!

• Take a tour of Aintree Racecourse, learn about the Grand National and see what happens to the horses behind the scenes

• Find out about racing equipment for both horses and jockeys

• Watch live demonstrations of pony racing in the afternoon

This is for everyone (recommended from age 7 to 15 years old).

Please bring a packed lunch to enjoy at the course between sessions. The day will end at approximately 2.30 pm
