Dear Parents and Carers

Nothing too much to report this week.  Business is pretty much as usual and I am pleased to report that the children are working hard in class but this week due to the favourable weather many of the lessons and activities have been enjoyed outside.  The children would like to thank those who came last weekend to tidy up several areas within the school grounds and the children are now enjoying den making activities and orienteering.  I have been asked by the Junior Teachers to request that if you are parked in St James' at the end of the day please do not remain in your car and call the children through as they feel that this is dangerous.  The children should be handed over at 3.15pm and these arrangements have worked satisfactorily to date.  We are now beginning to enjoy some competitive sport for our older children and remain hopeful that further opportunities for other year groups in the future.
