Dear Parents and Carers

I regret to inform you that we have had a positive case of coronavirus within our teaching staff. The member of staff displayed no symptoms and as we continued with our teacher training day on Friday this has severely compromised the schools ability to feel free of the virus. Teachers did try to maintain social distancing as they have done since we began school in September. However, after discussing the situation with our Chair of Governors and Senior Management I must inform you that school will not restart until Monday 9th November when we will welcome all children at 8.45am. Please refer to the attached official document. Fortunately Mrs Greenwood and I will be in school during the week beginning 2nd November and will be available to support you should you require any help. This is regrettable but I am confident that we are doing the right thing to keep our children, your families and the wider community as safe as we can.
